Winter is always the right time to experiment with all your wardrobe wishes
Technically speaking, ‘fashion’ is always in fashion (for all what it means), and so is to stay fashionable. But winter is one season when you can really experiment with clothes without any bounds and absolutely can love doing it. You can wear layers which hide the extra flab and flatters any body-type and all the colours compliment really well.
Designer Aashish Parikh says, “Every season has its trends and advantages but winter is where you can go even one step further. The biggest benefit is, you will feel comfortable in all types of silhouette without worrying that you’ll perspire or rain will wreck your fashion zest down. You can go to your wardrobe and pick whatever you like, everything that you always want to wear but don’t find the right time for it. Earthy colours go better but, still there aren’t any restrictions in terms of colours too, as due to the kind of atmosphere winter generally has — each colour shines out well.”
Abhilasha Babbar, a management student is one of those many youngsters who really wait for winters to come, so they can empty all the corners of their wardrobes and have endless options for each day at college. “I love winter fashion,” she exclaims, “You can wear jackets, overcoats and all the layers which I feel compliment anyone very well. My mom’s entire shawl collection is transferred in my cupboard and I have fun mornings deciding all my mix-n-match.”
